Here are some instructions to prepare your image stripes for a Silver or Gold service levels:

Silver and Gold service levels allow for 2 folders for every 100 images. If you require additional folders for your project, each additional folder will cost $4.00.

Don’t cut film strips into individual frames. Standard 35mm negatives cannot be printed from individually cut negatives.

Put the film for each folder/chapter (about 50 frames on average) in a quart-sized Ziploc bag and label the bag with the title you would like the directory to be named. Number the bags to identify the order that the bags should be scanned.  Also, identify the frames you want copied.

Creating an instruction sheet that will outline the group ordering and the name of each group, is also helpful.

Keep folder and file names as simple as possible and make sure they are meaningful to you. This will allow you to more easily identify your files and folders on the DVD menu.

For example, if the earliest group of photos was from Christmas 1945, the bag should be labeled "1 - 1945 Christmas". The number at the beginning will determine the sorting of the folders/chapters. See back for example of instructions.

Please be sure your instruction sheet is legible.

A few words of caution: Don’t cut film strips into individual frames. Standard 35mm negatives cannot be printed from individually cut negatives. We may have to charge for other formats of negatives that have been cut into individual frames. Also, if the film is cut, we may not be able to process individual frames.

We cannot guarantee that we will be able to maintain strict sequencing with the negatives, but we will do our best.

We are not responsible for mistakes if the frame number is in the bag more than once.
Here’s an example of an instruction sheet.
