Information:
FTP is a barebones method to move files over the Internet. You can get more
information about FTP at http://www.ftpplanet.com/. FTP
can be a little tricky to set up so be sure and check out https://StarPhoto.Lifepics.com
first to see if it works for you.
Please follow these instructions.
1. We do not have a public account so we will need to create a private one for
you. There is no charge for this setup.
2. To set up a personal account you will first need fill out this
form.
3. We will then email you back once your account is established. This is
generally done within 24 hours.
4. Once we have set up your account you can upload using
Internet Explorer on a PC or with a FTP client program on a Mac or PC.
INTERNET EXPLORER BROWSER on a PC: Using MS Internet Explorer on a
PC, NOT Firefox or any other browser, Go to 
and a login prompt should appear. Login using the login and password you
chose. If the prompt doesn't appear try clicking on "File>Login
as..." in the menu bar. If that doesn't work click on
"Tools>Internet Options" and then the Advanced tab. Make
sure the "Enable folder view for FTP sites box is checked. Click OK
and try to login again. If you still have problems or are using a dsl
modem and/or have a firewall try selecting the "use passive FTP" in
the advanced setup.
FTP CLIENT Program: set your host to ,
enter your username and password and you should be good to go.
Using Star Photo FTP.
You can create any folders you like in your personal account with your FTP client. If
you are using Internet Explorer you just right click in an empty area and choose
New>Folder from the popup menu. You can then just copy or drag your files into the FTP window. (upload).
We have no way of knowing you sent us anything with FTP so after you have
uploaded your file(s) you will need to send us an email with instructions.
Send that email to  or use the FTP
order info page. PLEASE do not use that email address for
anything except print orders. Send all other email to 
or use the Contact Us form.
NOTE: Any files more than 30 days old will be purged. This services is not to be
used
for long-term storage, but to transfer files to us.
Macs: You need to use an FTP client program for Macs. Take a look at
http://www.fetchsoftworks.com
